I am happy to present you an interview with my new 
Serbian clanmate Lav “Lav” Kovac. He joined MMC.eSports just some days ago, on September 18th 2008. Lav qualified for the Word Cyber Games (WCG) Grand Finals in Command and Conquer 3, which will take place from November 5th to November 8th in Cologne, Germany.
Ich freue mich, euch ein englischsprachiges Interview mit meinem neuen serbischen Clan-Kollegen Lav “Lav” Kovac präsentieren zu können. Lav trat MMC.eSports vor einigen Tagen am 18. September 2008 bei. Er qualifizierte sich für die World Cyber Games (WCG) Grand Finals im Spiel Command and Conquer 3. Die Grand Finals werden vom 5. bis 8. November in Köln stattfinden. Lav ist in Gruppe B – wie auch Dackel, der die deutsche WCG-Qualifikation gewonnen hat.

MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: How would you describe yourself?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I’m an ambitious young man, hungry for success, but I’m a nice down-to-earth guy – at least I think so =) – and besides gaming & music, which takes up most of my time, I love hanging out with my friends, going to concerts and drinking beer.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: What was your reason to buy Command and Conquer 3?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I guess what made me buy it in the first place was the reason my friend Daut would switch to it, and it looked like a promising new RTS. WCG Serbia finally taking a spot for a non blizzard RTS came in second as another reason to buy it.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Did you play the Red Alert 3 Beta?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: Yeah, I have played it for a short while.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: So what is your opinion about Red Alert 3?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I haven’t played it much, but so far, so good. I love that they implemented water into the gameplay. I’ve missed this since Age of Empire 3 / Rise of Nations and I was always a fan of naval battles as an extra hmm

MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Do you like LAN-tournaments or do you prefer online-gaming?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: Yes, I do. My LAN experience is small, mainly because there are no LANs in my area . But I’ve played on two so far and I definitely enjoy them more. Simply, there is much more adrenaline pumping through me when I play in LAN, than just simply playing at home where I also make shit, eat, wash dishes and sleep^^…
I compare it to music: I simply like more playing live than doing a recording session in studio.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Quite interesting. Well, our next topic is the WCG. What did you feel at the moment you qualified for WCG Grand Finals?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: Wow. It was my dream come true^^ I always thought about it, but seeing it happen, feeling it, it’s quite amazing. It was quite a spectacular moment for me, standing up from that PC after I won. The DJ played „We’re the champions“ by Queen, and I really felt like a champ. But only few minutes later I became aware that the toughest job is yet to come – the Cologne WCG finals.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Have you ever been in Germany, where the WCG Grand Finals will take place this year? What do you know about Germany?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I’ve been to Germany a few times, in Berlin. I have only passed through Cologne once, and stopped for a train swap. It was funny: I walked out to get some fresh air and I was shocked by the Koeln Cathedrale, quite a big building.

MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Let’s talk about our clan. What did you know about Starsky, Dragonfood, InsOp and Celerity, for example, when you joined MMC.eSports?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I knew a lot about MMC for a long time before I actually joined. I’ve been following MMC since Age of Empires 3 came out, and it has always been my top website for Age of Empires 3/Command and Conquer 3 news over the years. I used it to watch loads of Starsky’s replays, and MMC’s 3v3 replays in Age of Empires 3 and they were always inspiring for me. Later Daut joined them and then I was sure MMC is THE clan to be in. At the moment, the Command and Conquer 3 lineup is a dream team (except me hahaha) and I’m glad to be part of it.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Nice. You have joined MMC.eSports just a few days ago, but what is your first impression of MMC.eSports as a member of MMC?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I’m amazed how professional they are. Yet they aren’t the typical „geeks“ as someone would expect from people who play games so much. So far, all the people involved in MMC, players & staff, gave the impression of one big gaming family.
MMC.e-bug|Predatory fish: Just a personal question: Dragonfood likes cats. Do you have any pets, too?
MMC.e-bug|Lav: I have a dog and a cat. The dog is named Dunja and the cat doesn’t have a name as far as I know haha
